Good for playing recorded lectures from my MP3. But for Skype conferencing or audio recording, the mic is quite choppy and you need to speak within 2 feet and directly facing the mic, which means it's not convenient for conference calls with people scattered in a room.
I bought it for $50, which is ok for the bluetooth feature, but the audio quality is obviously very limited from its small size. The build is quite solid, though there is no Samsung name on the speaker or anywhere on the box or packaging.
I bought this mainly to play music and lectures from my Samsung YP-T10 bluetooth mp3 player. Once connected to the mp3 player, it remembers in future and automatically connects.
With the latest competitive bluetooth speakers on the market, I would not pay more than $40 if I had to buy again. The CK811 can be quite loud for a room 20x20ft.
For playing music, suits classical music but not rock music that have heavy bass.
I paid $66.50 for my first one, and got the bag with it, then got another for $49 for the house. I love it, and for the price you can't go wrong. When in the car at freeway speeds you need to mount it pretty close to the person using it, but love the strong magnet on the back of the speakers, I took a small piece of sheet metal and got some long tie straps and put it on my steering wheel. Keep it on the ash tray most of the time, for music, but if I get or make a call I just pop it on the wheel and its so easy to hear and talk.
I was disappointed that when you plug in directly there is no volume control. I wasn't expecting much as I'm familiar with speakers this size. I was looking for a compact bluetooth solution for traveling. The unit isn't bad sound wise.
Indicator lights are good (blue, orange, flicker status, etc). Lacks any bass, but sounds much better\louder than most speakers on portable devices. Convenient, no wires.
Nothing super special about them, but they work fine. It's cheap, too, so for the price it is a good deal. These speakers are OK.
Bluetooth always pairs readily with my laptop or cell phone (both Samsung). Don't regret the purchase and would buy 'em again as long as it is inexpensive and you're not looking to wow your friends. There is no Samsung label or anything that would identify it as Samsung.
It's not for the audiophile, but the sound is certainly acceptable for the package.
The Blue-Tooth works great with my Samsung MP3 and the battery is long lasting. These speakers sound great but could have a little more base.
